Hi Everyone- Isabelle had her 3 month off-treatment clinic visit today and we have some great news-- all of her blood counts were within normal ranges!!!!! This is the first time since she was diagnosed, so we are very excited. She does have a bit of a cold though, that we are hoping will clear up before Friday. Friday she is scheduled for two surgical procedures that they won't do if she is congested. She will have a spinal tap to look for relapse in the central nervous system. They have no reason to suspect a relapse; this is simply part of her protocol-- a spinal tap every 3 months in the first year. She will also have a veinagram. This is a procedure where they shoot dye into her veins to observe the blood clot she has in her subclavial vein. If the clot looks good, we can stop giving her the two shots a day of lovenox- a blood thinner. We are expecting to hear nothing but good news all around! So think a good thought for Isabelle Friday morning-- we'll keep you posted! Annie
