keycodes from ESRI (after completing Step 2).**
**Hardware keys are only required for Windows machines that will be running
ArcGIS Desktop or Workstation. The same hardware keys that work with ArcGIS 8x work with ArcGIS 9x.**
1. ARE YOU A WINDOWS USER?: If you will be using this software on
WINDOWS, you will need hardware keys to use the software. Due to the
fact that the University will no longer use LPO's, all orders for WINDOWS
hardware keys will have to be made directly with ESRI. You will need to order by phone and use your UF p-card.
Please contact Sandra Evich from ESRI. Note that the Software Floating License does not cost anything, but
any needed WINDOWS hardware keys cost $50(1) or $30 each with a minimum order of 3 keys.
