DETRACTOR: Solid Waste Facilities

We decided that development is not likely to occur near solid waste facilities. Solid Waste facilities include land fills for trash, compost, tires, or other debris. We treated each type of facility equally. The red areas in the image were assigned a -3 value in model and the pink areas were assigned a -1 value. A red area represents a one-mile radius aroud a prison and a pink area extends to two miles.
