Textbooks: Readings and a course text will be discussed during the first week of class.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:
This course is designed to introduce graduate students to concepts and theory associated with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for planning and business application. The course will meet on Fridays (2nd, 3rd & 4th periods). Lectures, class assignments, homework assignments, and field trips will be required.

There will be a mid-term and final examination. There will be homework assignments requiring the use of ArcView available in the computer laboratory (Room 118 Architecture) or on your PC.
