North Central Florida Regional Planning Council - Process Steps: All of data sets were recieved from the Alachua County Property Appraisers Office. "GISLandpub", "GISAddr", "GISBldpub", "GISRealpub" tables were joined and then exported as a personal database (db1). "GISEntprop", "GISEntity" were joined as one table (db2). Then a third join was performed "db1", "db2" and "AlachuaCounty_Parcel.shp" shape file to create "AC_Parcel". A select by attribute was performed "buse=9300 OR buse=9400 OR luse >= 8600 OR puse >= 8600 OR muse >= 1060 <= 1063". The selected data was then exported as a personal database. The required fields were then selected and the remaining rows and columns of data were exported as a shapefile called "AC_PA_gov" renamed "PA_gov". Police parcels selected out of gov layer. Process Date: 20050601 Northeast Florida Regional Planning Council - Process Steps: Geocoded law enforcement location points (gc_lawenforce_sep05)) were obtained from GeoPlan. The points were moved to the center of their respective parcel polygons which were obtained from the Property Appraiser office of each of the 6 Northeast Florida counties. Other sources were researched including FDLE, local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Those locations that did not exist in the GeoPlan gc_lawenforce_sep05 dataset were geocoded using street centerlines from local governments and then placed in their respective parcel polygons. A spatial join was created between the point layer which contained the complete table schema and attribution and the parcel polygon layer. The result was a polygon layer with the attribution and table schema as defined by GeoPlan. Process Date: 20060501 GeoPlan Center - Process Steps: GeoPlan received this data, via CDROM, and performed the following: -Reprojected to the FGDL Albers HPGN map projection. -Restructured the attribute table to fit the SCE Data Specification Document Standards. -Merged datasets together to create one FDOT District-wide shapefile. -Added FGDLAQDATE field based on the date FGDL acquired the data from the source. -Added DESCRIPT field based on 'TYPE' Process Date: 20060614 Metadata imported.
