AREA Area of polygon in coverage units.
PERIMETER Perimeter in coverage units
SURVEYNUM Number assigned to the survey for relating to the acquistion list.
SURVEYNUM1 Second assigned number to survey after an exchange or other
transaction.
PAR_NAME Name of smallest unit of ownership and typically the purchasing
unit. If the parcel is part of a subdivision, the subdivision
name is used rather than the lot name.
PRO_NAME Project name-A project is a major land unit designated for acquisition
ownership.
MA_NAME Official name of the managed land unit as determined by managing
agency. Typically named by conservation area.
ACQ_TYPE Type of acquisition
FEE = Fee Simple
LFS = Less than Fee Simple
SRR = SRWMD Restricted Easement
SRU = SRWMD Unrestricted Easement
OUT = Outparcel, parcel within polygon of owned land that is not owned by the
district
EAS = Easement from SRWMD to someone else
CLOSE_DATE Closing date for the parcel
GIS_UPDATE Date of last GIS modification
GIS_UPDATE2 Date of last GIS modification
GIS_UPDATE3 Date of last GIS modification
SOURCE 1 = digitized 1:24,000 quad maps
2 = digitized 1:100,000 quad maps
3 = digitized from non-geo-referenced parcel maps
4 = CADD or cogo based files
5 = Onscreen digitizing using geo-referenced data
6 = Onscreen digitizing using non-geo-referenced data
7 = Other
COMMENT Describes polygon history pertinent to that polygon or attribute
table.
GIS_AC Report of acres based on GIS calculations rather than survey
calculations.
SURVEYOR Name of the surveyor who did the survey work for the tract.
SHADE Item used to shade specific tracts for internal GIS use only.
ACQLINK Number assigned to the survey for relating to the acquisition
database.
ACQLINK1 Number assigned to the survey for relating to the acquisition data
base.
COMMENT1 Describes polygon history pertinent to that polygon or attribute
table.
PARCEL_ID County Parcel id number
SELGAL Legal description of the boundary.
CO Name of county tract/parcel is in.

Scale is an important factor in data usage. Certain scale datasets are not suitable for some project, analysis, or modelling purposes. Please be sure you are using the best available data. 1:24000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the county level. 1:24000 data should NOT be used for high accuracy base mapping such as property parcel boundaries. 1:100000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the multi-county or regional level. 1:250000 scale datasets are recommended for projects that are at the regional or state level or larger.
