This table includes data for each pre-1945 state route, including the start and finish locations and the year the routes were begun and finished. Additionally, some routes include data referencing the currently labeled roads that pass along the original route. The routing information from this table was applied to the existing road network included in the MAJRDS dataset located in the FGDL. The routes were discerned by combining the data from the downloaded table with the information from the following maps provided by FDOT: 1917 Florida State Road Department Map, the 1924 Rand McNally Texaco Florida Map, the 1927 Rand McNally Florida Map, the 1932 Pan-Am Florida Map, the 1940 Standard Oil Florida Map, the 1949 Florida State Road Department Map, the 1960 Official Florida Road Map, the 1970 Tempo Designs Florida Road Map, the 1979 Florida Official Transportation Map, the 1989 Florida Official Transportation Map, and the 1999 Florida Official Transportation Map. Missing line features were added to the MAJRS data layer from the RDS24 and MAJRDS_JUL06 data layers in the FGDL. Routes including too little information to positively identify the location of the roadway were not added to this data set. Features not included in the Pre-1945 State Route Numbering System were identified by the year in which they first appear on the aforementioned maps. Dates pertaining to Interstate 75 were retrieved from the website http://www.fl-interstate.com/timeline.html.
