Happy New Year from the GeoPlan Center! Following an exciting 2025, we welcome you into 2026! Here’s a list of our highlights from 2025:
- Added 240+ new or updated geospatial layers to FGDL
- GeoPlan student assistants continued their academic and professional growth by:
- Attending the 2025 Esri Federal GIS Conference
- Presenting their capstone and thesis-equivalent projects
- Re-designed our ArcGIS Online page for ease of access and to provide more information
- Undertook a significant cleanup project of the UF AGOL organization
- Continued Center for Landscape Conservation Planning partnership
- Launched the CLCP Hub on ArcGIS Online
- Developed and enhanced to EcoCon and FEGN Dashboard
- Participated in presentations and hands-on workshops with the CLCP team at the ESRI Southeast User Conference, Corridor Connect Summit, Florida APA conference, and Gulf to Atlantic Restoration Partnership (GARP) conference.
- Further developed Pinellas Heritage Resources database
- Updated our Sea Level Scenario Sketch Planning Tool
- Added National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) SLR inundation depth layers and 2022 SLR scenarios
- Updated base transportation layers and analysis, as well as flooded road segments
- Congratulated two graduating students in the Online GIS Certificate
- Began the process of updating our websites for ADA compliance
