GeoPlan collaborated with the UF Health Jacksonville Office of Research Affairs to develop the Active Clinical Trials Dashboard. This powerful tool allows researchers and administrations at UF Health Jacksonville to visualize the geographic distribution of participants and clinic facilities involved in research studies. To ensure personal health information remains confidential, the study participant location is aggregated by ZIP code.
There are several features that make navigating the dashboard straightforward and intuitive:
- Interactive map shows detailed data and displays related insights
- Filters for Faculty, Study, Department, and ZIP Code.
- Zoom specifically to Duval County Health Zones for localized analysis
In addition to an overview of research metric, this tool analyzes the spatial distribution of participants in relationship to clinics, leading to insights on resource allocation. By enabling researchers to visualize their data effectively, the tool facilitates more efficient care delivery and can help reduce or eliminate health care deserts.
